"Failed to fetch data from the underlying data set" error on Looker Studio
We've seen the error "Failed to fetch data from the underlying data set" (see screenshot below) occurring occasionally to SyncWith users on Looker Studio, but unfortunately have not yet been to track down what's the root cause. From what we've seen on online discussions
people have reported the same issue with other data sources so it doesn't look like its a SyncWith-specific problem.
It seems that removing and re-adding the data source causing the error can sometimes fix the issue.
Other troubleshooting steps users can try are:
Editing the configuration of the data source (which is less invasive than removing/re-adding the data source)
Recreating the visualization, using the existing data source, and see if the issue still applies
